I was wondering about writing the profiles. When I write my characters I tend to go in deep-- likes, dislikes, habits, etc--- to make sure my character is in character, etc. Are these things prohibited or can I add them like somewhere in my profile?

No, but those things belong in personality. Length does not matter, so long as it isn't like a novel. ^-^

OK, and I have one more question! >-< Gomen ne...

In the 7 years later section-- what's the situation of the nations. You give a little description, but it doesn't explain like the situations within each place.

Does the Northern Water Tribe still forbid teaching fighting waterbending to women?
Have the war-torn fire nation colonies broken back into Earth Kingdom?
How are the Fire Nation civilians dealing with the war (in general, not the subplots). Are they happy with the peace, or do they feel like they were destroyed and resent the avatar?
Just to name a few...

I don't mean to get too technical, but if there are anything major socially, economically, politically my character should know about before RPing, etc. I'm studying American history (in particular the World Wars) right now, especially the politics of it and this stuff is almost essential in knowing where I'm going.

The situations are whatever is going on in the main plot there. It's more or less something that isn't really firm. It isn't exactly seven years later anymore. Everyone is at peace. It's as simple as that.

And this is RPing...none of that matters...it's more or less what YOU want to RP...

Another dumb and stupid question-- what's your NPC policy? I've seen some sites where you are to cut them out completely, others where they are allowed to be handled by all RPers on the thread, some only by the creator of the NPC, no matter how tiny and stupid of a role they play.

I'm really sorry for asking all of these stupid questions. ^^;

What do you mean? You are only able to play your character - you can't NPC a canon. It might not be in the rules, but we don't like that.
